Rule of 72

How long compound interest will take to double your investment?

A rule of thumb - called Rule of 72 can tell you:

Simply divide 72 by the rate of return on your investmenr.

For example:

For rate at 6%, will take you 12 years.
For rate at 10%, will take you 7.2 years.
